Well thanks for pointing it out as I had missed it, I shall look forward to some more nice shell spottings then if its a good area for it :-)
Oh no please, no apologies needed. I pointed that out because it does look like a shell just laying on the sand. This area is very popular for shelling.
I apologise Livan, I clearly wasnt looking closely enough but you are right you can just see the body under it!
It is actually in the very shallow water. It is alive; you can see the body of the snail under it.
lovely colours and pattern on this shell, in perfect conndition too :)
