Typical Swiss ID weather, but actually I am a little bit fed up with snow, since October we have snow, but green Xmas and now obviously white Easter, poor bunnies...
Sorry to hear you're having rough weather there but glad you could ID this to the species. From your second link, these are really beautiful when they're in peak shape.
Indeed very rough, conditions and ID and weather in Switzerland... It is definitely a Riodinidae and Eurybia sp., but the most important parts are missing and it could be Eurybia cyclopia or Eurybia silaceana, both the male. http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/imagehtmls/LycRio/Eurybia_c_cyclopia_M_COSTA_RICA_Turrialba_16-VIII-73_131_i.htm http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/imagehtmls/LycRio/Eurybia_c_cyclopia_PANAMA_DARIEN_PROV._Cana_Field_Station_12-I-2003_GC1_i.htm http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/eurybia_silaceana_types.htm
