Field Notes

Description:

I found this spider on my trip to Dairy Farm Nature Reserve. This is just the creepy crawly you don't want mess with. This spider can move its legs incredibly fast! It took some time until I could capture it and examine it thoroughly. This insect has a black body, black legs, and eight legs. When this spider makes its web it has a zig zag pattern on it. It's body is about 1 cm and it's legs are about 2 1/2 cm long. This is the type of spider where most other insects don't want to bug him out. These insects get scared of his black body making it a shield to protect himself.

Habitat:

It's habitat is the rainforest and other types of forests.
