Description:

The Olive-backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis Linnaeus 1766, 12cm) (Nectariniidae), also known as the Yellow-bellied Sunbird, is a very small Old World passerine bird which feeds largely on nectar, although it will also take insects, especially when feeding young. It can take nectar by hovering, but usually perches to feed most of the time. Current IUCN Red List category: Least Concern.

Habitat:

Backyard in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines.
