Field Notes

Description:

Approximately 1 1/2 inches long and 2 inches in wingspan. Bold Black lines on wings with tan body color.

Notes:

I found this insect flying around my outdoor light at around 9:00 PM; it was very actively flying trying to get at the light. This moth also resembled the look of bark but was darker in color then my previous spotting so I do not know whether the two species are the same or not please notify me if they are.
