Description:

I was looking for flowers and it appears that I was a few days too early at this patch, but I saw some promising buds!

Habitat:

Hexastylis arifolia, or the little brown jug is a perennial wildflower in the family Aristolochiaceae found in the southeastern United States. It is considered a threatened species in Florida.

Notes:

Spotted along the road at Camp Windy Waters on Lake Allatoona
