Description:

large butterfly, was only able to get the ventral view

Habitat:

pacific coast rainforest

Notes:

Spotted in San Cipriano forest reserve.

Thanks again bayucca. It is so true, I often spot butterflies along roads and near small streams, less so on flowers in the forest.
Nymphalidae, Charaxinae, Archaeoprepona demophon.
