Description:

They are a small, fossorial snake. The back color is tannish-brown, and the top of the head is gray. The Tantilla genus always have a pink belly, which distinguishes this snake from the similarly looking blackhead snake.

Habitat:

This guy was found under a piece of tin we flipped in thorn scrub area.
