Field Notes

Description:

This tree has flowers but has no fruit. The flowers and pink, white and yellow in color. The shape of the leaves is ovate. The margin is entire and the venation is netted pinnate. These leaves have a leathery, rough texture. The arrangement is whorled. The leaves measure 28 by 10cm. The tree bark is rough. The height of the tree is about 4-6m. The root system is underground.

Habitat:

Found in Singapore, hot and humid all year round.
