Field Notes

Description:

The male of this species has a stunning stripe from the beak to the nape. The female has a patch on the nape and a patch above the beak. The wings have stunning black and white barring.

Habitat:

Found in a tree in my neighborhood.

Notes:

The only reason I found this guy is because of the very loud and high pitched noises he was making.
