Field Notes

Description:

These feathers have come from a Pheasant, as it is such a large bird I am assuming that it was possibly killed by a fox due to the amount of smaller feathers around the area too. Maybe ambushed whilst having a drink.

Habitat:

Seen at the side of a river in an area of Debyshire where they are plentiful and often kept as game birds.
