Description:

Please check out the little video (https://youtu.be/ROh9-t5v89A ) of this little Dove doing the "advertising call". The peaceful dove has a pink-grey breast with chequered grey-brown wings. Thin striations of black appear around the neck and nape area and descend down the back. The eye is greyish-white and a blue-grey ring surrounds the eye that tapers off and joins the beak/cere. (Wiki)

Habitat:

Sitting in this tree in the backyard.

Notes:

I heard this little one doing his advertising call (only knew that after I did some searching ha ha). It then flew up into the Mango Tree and after a few minutes I heard a very different sound...kinda like a zzz'ing sound, turned around to see what it could be and spotted this one mating with another. Guess the call really works :)
