Field Notes

Description:

Blue and white flowers in the Fabaceae family, it is the state flower of Texas.

Habitat:

It is endemic to Texas, this small patch was found next to the bunk house at Chaparral WMA

Notes:

There is a caterpillar on the flower in a few of the photos, and I didn't realize he was there until going through the pictures on my computer when I got home. Feel free to ID if you can see enough of it :)
