I agree with Livan Eastern Tiger Swallowtail seems like the best fit.
I think this is a red spotted purple, but its just a suggestion....what i do know is that it should be in the Arthropod Category :)
It's very worn, but I believe it's a dark form of an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) http://bugguide.net/node/view/491
