Field Notes

Description:

This whitish colored fungus was growing in a wavy shape. The top of the fungus was a brownish black color. The "host" the rotting log is turning a greenish yellow color.

Habitat:

Found on a rotting log. Nearby were many other fungus and rotting logs though there were trees that were also alive around it.
