Field Notes

Description:

Notes:

Osprey have done well around the Nicasio lake over the past 10 years. I've spotted as many as seven at one time bathing and cooling themselves in the shallows during hot summer days. Though we saw fewer during 2012 the variety of raptors was way up. (especially multiple sightings of bald eagles, peregrine falcons, & nesting white tailed kites)
