Field Notes

Description:

Wit big lancolate leaves this oil palm is massive. It is sprawling all over the place and has thick, big, spiky stems propping it up. Right now there is no fruit or flowers this is probably due to the lack of pollination although maybe a few weeks later it will start producing food.

Habitat:

Near a the edge of a trail where there is a lot of access to the sun. It is right by the fence and trail.
