Description:

It must be mating season! I found several pairs mating in my yard. You can see the females have vestigial (useless for flight) wings. We have seen hundreds in the yard over the last week

Habitat:

Suburban yard next to a dried-up, forested swamp

That is a good place to let them know of technical difficulties.
