Field Notes

Description:

Three deer without antlers. It's very early spring so I'm not sure if they just haven't started to grow any or if they're actually female. Dark to medium brown upper coats with white bellies and tails.

Habitat:

They were spotted in a field behind my apartment. It borders a forest made of deciduous and coniferous trees. There is a marsh nearby.

Notes:

Photo taken in the morning around 7:15 am. Was cloudy out.
