Description:

This species has a spotted abdomen pattern with a primarily black pronotum with complex markings.

They are an effective predator, and often used as a Biocontrol agent to combat aphid infestations.

Habitat:

Maybe found throughout the United States and Canada along with parts of Europe. Most common species in North America.
