White-tailed Deer
Odocoileus virginianus
44.6106, -71.2009
Field Notes
Notes:
In winter White-tailed Deer come together to form herds, this one had about 30 deer and they were near houses and in yards near the road in northern NH. The males have already shed their antlers, so it's harder to tell if there's a male in the herd. I think the large deer that's feeding in the last picture is a buck.
