Greater pipefish

A Greater pipefish, spotted at Agria bay, Volos, Greece. It was hiding between the ropes of a boat, and eventually it changed it's color, from light green/brown (last pic), to dark brown, to mottle with the surrounding environment: sea weeds, ropes etc.
Ένα φιδόψαρο, φωτογραφημένο στην Αγριά Βόλου, όπου κρυβόταν ανάμεσα στα φύκια και τα σχοινιά μιας βάρκας, εκμεταλλευόμενο την φυσική του ικανότητα να αλλάζει τα βασικά του χρώματα ανάλογα με το περιβάλλον του.
