Field Notes

Description:

This plant you can see at the bottom left-hand side of the photograph. It had 1 and a half foot long leaves, that had parallel venation. It did not really have a base, because the leaves started at the soil.

Habitat:

This was in a slightly-shaded mostly-sunny area in the secondary-rainforest in Singapore. It was in a space where all of the plants were generally spread out.
