Description:
There are 2 female forms of the Orange Sulphur, a pink-white and yellow-orange form. Males are bright orange with no markings.
Habitat:
Southern Texas & Florida south to Peru. Rare strays to Colorado, Wisconsin & New Jersey. Open tropical lowlands, gardens, roadsides
& parks. Host plants: Pithecellobium and Inga species in the pea family (Fabaceae). Adults nectar from lantana, shepherd's needle, bougainvilla, rose periwinkle, turk's cap, and hibiscus.
