It wouldn't let me open that link, but yes every link I read said it is near threatened. Always a good site to check out the status of anything is the IUCN redlist. They have the threats down as loss of rainforest and pollution of streams and rivers http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/58720/0 Unfortunately, most amphibians with restricted ranges such as this one are threatened or endangered :/

Not too sure on that common name, could only find one site that even gave me a common name for it lol
