Description:

22mm long. Vivid red-orange with black patches.

Habitat:

On suburban shop window under bright lights at night.

Notes:

Family: Arctiidae
Genus: Scoliacma
Species: S. bicolora

Found in eastern Australia and New Guinea. Larve feed on liverworts, mosses and lichens. http://www1.ala.org.au/gallery2/v/Arctiidae/Scoliacmabicolora/
