Field Notes

Description:

Family: Depranidae (which includes hooktip). WS 25-35 mm. A common hooktip moth variable in color. This one bright yellow and rusty brown. Black spots. Hosts: Birch and viburnum.

Habitat:

Found on border of lawn and open woodlands on low bushes.

Notes:

Only found one photo.
