Description:
6mm nocturnal hopper with a "smiling face" pattern on its head. I saw it as green but it was night and on perspex surface so the camera was at its limit
Notes:
files #smiling planthopper 7. This round of Bug Guide research gives me the tribe of Athysanini (tentative) and the family Cicadellidae (Leafhoppers) which has to be correct I think. Do we have Athysanini in Australia? More research.
