In fact there could be 3 different recorded species of Cosmophasis spiders found there. The spider in this spotting does not virtually matches with these 3 species of spiders that could possibly be found there - Cosmophasis thalassina. C. viridifasciata and Cosmophasis umbratica being the most well-known. Each of them have different colors and patterns. By the way, Cosmophasis along with other jumping spiders have 8 eyes. I would be glad to see those spiders if you could upload their photographs, Folicallychalled. It will be great to find out the variation or new species of these spiders.

Thank you, Dave folicallychalled Actually, I knew it's name because of ChunXingWong's suggestion. I didn't know either before. If I'm not mistaken, I think Cosmophasis Spider has four eyes, two spots on it's head and stripes on it's legs. Try to identify yours, Dave :) Or someone on Project Noah will help you.

Great set of images. I have two variations on this species, one with blue spots, the other with faded spots and yellow highlights. I haven't been able to identify them yet. Dave

It is a Cosmophasis species. This might be a variation or a new species.
