Field Notes

Description:

Well-branched with erect stems, characterized by their numerous white, lavender or pink ray flowers and yellow disc flowers. Some members of this group have no ray flowers.

Habitat:

Disturbed sites and open woods. This specimen was observed along side a small paved road in the drainage ditch w/ many others of its kind; and other species of FL wildflowers.

Notes:

Also know as Southern Fleabane.
