I'm glad I could help, Maria. It is really interesting how one angle of an organism can make it look so different. Thanks, Jacob. The white markings threw me off, too. I took this photo many years ago and unfortunately didn't have one of the front of the bird.

This looks much like the American Robin to me. The only thing which was confusing me was the white markings around the eyes. They usually don't extend to the back of the head.
