Description:

Black and whites random pattern of feathers on body, size about 9 to 10 inches from head to tail.

Habitat:

Near water bodies, marshy areas

Notes:

This bird okay to be photographed from a distance......hovered for almost about half a minute on an average before taking the dive. The longest hover was about 50 seconds.....class of balance at display
