Description:

Role: They have a hard thick shell so they aren't afraid of many predators. However the babies are soft, but they do have a unique way to protect, when swallowed whole they can eat the fish’s stomach lining until regurgitated.
Food: They are omnivores. In the wild they feed on small fish and aquatic vegetation. But as pets they eat turtle pellets.
Fact: They can easily live longer than 20 years

Habitat:

Habitat: He lives in the house in a large tank with water and some floating grass. There is a heat lamp with a resting rock underneath it. Water temperature between 75 and 85 degrees
