Field Notes

Description:

This fungus was around the size of a small dinner plate (18cm in diameter) long. It was brownish-grey at the top, and had a whit underside. These fungi enter trees and decomposes them from the outside. It did not smell like anything, and there were a bunch of these on the tree. The tree was grey-brown, and did no have any leaves.

Habitat:

Secondary rainforest, on a tree.

Notes:

There were fungus beetles living on it's bottom.
