Field Notes

Description:

Interesting little Leaf Beetle of the Family Chrysomelidae, about 5 mm in length with 4 striking target-like spots on the elytra. The head is black and the prothorax is yellow.

Habitat:

River Ravine of the Corazon del Fortin, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz, Mexico.

Notes:

This beetle was also spotted in the State of Chiapas, San Cristobal de Las Casas:
