Field Notes

Description:

This bright red tree fungi was found in one of the tropical rainforest's of singapore, this one had scales on the side of it and was very dark red in the middle, this one was about 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall.

Habitat:

It was growing on a fallen dying tree that was next too some plants and a man made pathway, it was also near some other fungi growing on this one tree.

Notes:

On the same tree, there was an ant society living in there, so that means the fungus must of been there for quite some time.
