Field Notes

Description:

Lots of these about, as in first picture, sizes varying from 19-26mm wingspan as measured. It is the only species I have found so far with a flight period this late in the year and matching the size criteria for wingspan so Xenochlorodes olympiaria is my best guess rather than a definite ID.

Habitat:

Balcony, attracted from the surrounding countryside by night light. <br>
Limestone outcrop in foothills of Los Serranos mountains.
