Description:

This mosquito has a pointed abdomen, dark legs and dark wings. The key to identifying it and distinguishing it from similar species is the pattern on the scutum: Oc. trivittatus has two submedian, yellowish-white stripes separated by dark stripe of about same width on its scutum.

Habitat:

Habitat: Attracted to a light at night in a rural area.
