This lizard is also known as the Grand Cayman Island iguana. It's endemic to that island and its wild numbers are in the hundreds.
Hi, MohammadHosseinKäzerouni, welcome to Project Noah. This is an interesting first spotting. I'm curious if this is in the Smithsonian National Zoo. If so, in addition to adding the scientific name please make a note that it is a captive animal. We look forward to your future spottings.
