Field Notes

Description:

This fungi was approximately 4 inches wide and 3 inches long. Its hue was a bright orange color, with yellow colored rims. The mushroom's shape seemed to look like it was one big fungi with many smaller ones on the edges. In the middle of the fungi, it was slightly concave.

Habitat:

I found this fungi in Singapore American School's rainforest, which is a secondary rainforest. The fungi was stuck to the side of a fallen log and was very near to the forest floor. The area it was in was partially shady, with some sunlight streaming through. I spotted it at 12:55 PM.
