Description:
Dark grey in colour, providing good camouflage against the dark lava rocks. The orange colouration is fairly pale, and the stripes and spots are less conspicuous. These lizards are know to be able to change colour in order to blend in with the surroundings.
Habitat:
Found on lava rocks on the beach, near La Playita.
Notes:
Lava lizards belong to the Iguanidae family, being related to Iguanas.
