Field Notes

Description:

This plant is very close to the ground, and stands about three or three and a half feet tall. There are red sac like parts in the center of the plant. It appears to be a form of a cycad but the red parts in the middle seem larger then usual and their coloring only seems darker then the usual cream/yellowish color

Habitat:

It was found in moist soil and direct heat
