Description:
The web of this species is said to be so strong that sometimes even birds and bats can get tangled in its web. It has black dots on its legs. It stays motionless for a long time waiting for its prey.
Habitat:
The web is often found in damp areas and in big trees and areas that are unpolluted. It is mostly found in South Africa and in several islands in the Indian ocean but I found it in Singapore.
Notes:
Found 3.5 ft above ground. It stayed there for 2 days.
