Field Notes

Description:

A small moth about 20mm long with graduated shades of brown and dark margins. Each fore wing had a small dark comma-shaped pattern in the middle. Dense pale setae covered head and thorax and a small tuft of upright setae was seen posterior to the thorax. Legs also had setae with banded tibiae and tarsi.

Habitat:

Spotted resting on the outside of a shed near native trees.
