I googled "emerald moth", then saw a matching image, which pointed to this site - http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4721&view=previous. It's where I found the scientific name, which I googled also :) I don't have link to Ecuador moths in particular, but this link could be a start - http://www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/Andes%20thumbs%20-%20moths.htm.
