Description:

This is called a cacao tree. The shape of the leaves are lanceolate while the venation pf the leaves are netted pinnate. The margins are entire, but the arrangement is alternate. These leaves were about 13 cm wide and 33 cm long. They were waxy and leathery, yet the bark was rough. The roots of this tree are buttresses. It has some sort of fruit on it. (cacao)
