Description:

A group of Monarch butterflies have been observed for the first time clustering in trees in Aquatic Park, Berkeley, CA! California monarchs populations were in decline for ten years or more, but began to rebound in 2014. It is not certain if the butterflies will stay in the park or move further south.

Habitat:

Clustering in eucalyptus and ash trees in Aquatic Park, Berkeley, CA.
