Field Notes

Description:

An old Weaver Ant's nest, fallen to the ground. The ants were constructing a new nest, but it was too high up in the tree to get photos. Couldn't get too close to the tree, the ants immediately attached! And they are hard to get off... they hold on tight, and the bites are painful!
