Field Notes

Description:

Mostly medium brown. Probably no more than 1 - 1.25 inches in length (guess). Markings on abdomen. Pointy rear. The head looks similar to a wolf spider. Aggressive. Female

Habitat:

Open woodlands/lawn border. Low bushes in leaves about 4 feet off the ground was its nest/hiding place.

Thanks again Eric for taking the time. I think I am getting lazy. LOL Definitely female. She had her nest. That is why she was aggressive toward me.
It was the most aggressive spider I have come across. It believe it was protecting a nest of eggs.
