Field Notes

Description:

A grey moth about 12mm long with variable black patterns on the wings. A patch of pale orange seen near the apex of each fore wing. the wings were rolled about the body. Thorax was a pearly white.

Habitat:

spotted on a warm night.

Notes:

Thanks to Peter Marriott for the ID. This is also commonly called "Ivy leaf-roller moth" and according to Peter Marriott, s similar to C.australana

This is a Tortricid moth
